• Match the order to the correct product, size, color, quantity, and shipping deadline
• Confirm artwork dimensions and placement against the current template
• Verify required mirroring, rotation, tiling, or nesting
• Confirm white-ink, underbase, cut-path, or transparency behavior
• Run a software preview and check for warnings or automatic scaling
• Use a proof or test piece when color, fit, or placement is uncertain

Machine preparation may include:

• Cleaning and routine maintenance
• Calibration, alignment, focus, or nozzle checks
• Installing the correct tool, fixture, platen, or print mode
• Loading the approved profile, preset, or material configuration
• Confirming temperature, ventilation, and safety controls
• Testing registration and output on suitable material

Material preparation may include:

• Inspecting for damage, contamination, moisture, or coating defects
• Cleaning without leaving residue
• Pretreating, prepressing, masking, priming, or securing the material
• Confirming dimensions and locating the printable area
• Recording the material, supplier, lot, and color when repeatability matters
• Allowing the material to reach the required environmental condition
