A note from the founder
My story
This is why I am building Gudiee, in plain words.
Before Gudiee, I spent years in warehouses and fulfillment floors. The kind of places where a late truck or a messy inventory count ruins someone's day. Operations, logistics, process work. Not glamorous. Very real.
On the side, I kept making things myself. 3D printing. CAD. Sublimation. Digging into the tools creators actually use. Two worlds: how stuff gets shipped, and how stuff gets made. Gudiee started where those kept bumping into each other.
Someone draws a design they love. Then it gets sent to a faraway plant, parked in a warehouse, packed again, and shipped across the country. By the time it shows up at the door, half the story is miles and waiting.
I kept thinking: what if the maker was closer? What if the materials were already nearby? What if the buyer did not have to wait on a system built for big boxes, not personal goodies?
Creators upload the files. Makers produce them. Suppliers keep the blanks and materials ready. Buyers get something made with care, often closer to home.
I am not trying to build another endless scroll of listings. I want a network people can trust: clear standards, real workshops, and production that feels human instead of anonymous.
I am building this independently, one foundation at a time. Standards. Routing. The boring-but-essential pieces that have to work before the network can grow.
