How order fulfillment works on gudiee
From checkout to local production: how buyer orders route to makers, advance through fulfillment states, and stay visible to everyone in the chain.
When a buyer completes checkout on gudiee, each order line becomes production work. The platform assigns eligible makers based on capability and listing requirements, then tracks fulfillment from routing through delivery.
Fulfillment states
- Pending — line is paid but not yet assigned to a maker.
- Routed — eligible makers can see the gig in their queue.
- In production — a maker claimed the line and is manufacturing.
- Shipped — the maker marked the item as shipped.
- Delivered — the buyer received the product; reviews unlock here.
Why local routing matters
Routing production to nearby makers shortens fulfillment distance, reduces inventory risk, and keeps creators connected to how their designs are interpreted in the real world. gudiee treats fulfillment as infrastructure, not an afterthought.
