Marketplace search and discovery

How Gudiee marketplace browse works: shop by item, art style, creator, and same-day ZIP: with collapsible filters, shareable URLs, and structured results.

June 11, 2026

The Gudiee marketplace is built for structured discovery: not infinite scroll noise. Goodies appear first; search and filters live in a collapsible panel so buyers reach products quickly. Every filter runs server-side and updates the URL, so a search can be bookmarked or shared.

Search and filters panel

On /marketplace, open Search & filters to refine results. The panel stays collapsed by default so listings show immediately. When filters are active, a count badge and summary chips appear on the collapsed bar: plus a Clear all control to reset.

  • Text search across listing title and description.
  • Sort by newest, oldest, or price (low to high / high to low).
  • Listing type: goodie (finished product) vs design (production file; public browse expands as the network grows).
  • Production method: sublimation, embroidery, 3D print, and others in the network.
  • Price range in USD (min and max).

Shop by item

Horizontal chips let buyers start from a product they already have in mind: shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs, tumblers, posters and prints, totes, desk organizers, and stickers or labels. Selecting a chip filters listings to that item type, including artwork listings that support the blank.

Shop by art style

Creators tag listings with art styles during publishing. Buyers can filter by cyber, anime, modern, minimalist, vintage, streetwear, nature, or abstract. Styles appear on listing cards and help surface work that matches a visual direction without reading every description.

Shop by purpose

Purpose chips group goodies by how buyers use them: Home & Organization, Apparel & Accessories, Drinkware, Office & Desk, Seasonal & Events, Personalized Gifts, and more. This is the buyer-friendly aisle view: organized by intent, not internal taxonomy codes.

Shop by creator

Every creator can set a unique @username in profile settings. Buyers search by handle in the marketplace panel, open /profile/@username for a short link, or tap Shop this creator on a profile to see only that creator's approved listings. Listing cards show the creator handle and link to their profile.

Same-day delivery

Enter a US ZIP code to check whether nearby makers have capacity for same-day production on eligible methods. Listings that qualify show a Same-day near you badge. Toggle Same-day only to hide everything else. Eligibility depends on maker location, production method, and open capacity: not a guarantee for every item in every ZIP.

Shareable URLs

Active filters are encoded in the query string so results are reproducible. Examples: ?item=mug for mugs, ?style=cyber for cyber art, ?creator=handle for one creator, ?zip=90210&sameDay=1 for same-day near a ZIP, and ?q=custom for text search. Combine parameters to narrow further.

Goodies vs maker supplies

Buyer-facing creator listings live under Goodies. Maker supplies: blanks and raw inputs from suppliers: live in a separate tab with its own purchase flow. Keeping these surfaces distinct reduces confusion about who each catalog serves.
