How to join the gudiee network
Becoming a Creator, Maker, or Supplier: what to expect from onboarding, approvals, and how each path maps to sign-up on gudiee.
Joining gudiee means joining a quality-controlled graph, not simply creating an account. Each role has different prerequisites because each role protects a different part of the chain: design intent, production capability, or material truth.
Creators: publish manufacturable work
Creators start by preparing files and metadata that makers can execute without guesswork. You should expect to describe your product honestly, choose categories that match your assets, and iterate when production feedback reveals ambiguity.
What creators should bring
- Print-ready or machine-ready sources of truth for each variant you list.
- Realistic expectations for materials, finishes, and tolerances given the process.
- Willingness to adjust listings when the network cannot faithfully produce a concept as originally presented.
Makers: prove capability and reliability
Makers apply with equipment detail, capacity signals, and operational seriousness. Approvals exist so buyers and creators are not gambling on unknown shops. Expect to demonstrate that your tooling matches the jobs you want to receive.
What makers should bring
- Documented equipment and maintenance practices appropriate to claimed capabilities.
- Honest throughput and scheduling signals so routing does not overcommit your shop.
- A mindset aligned to spec execution: substitutions are a failure mode unless explicitly allowed.
Suppliers: standardize what workshops depend on
Suppliers publish SKUs that creators can specify and makers can buy against. The onboarding emphasis is repeatability: what is in the bag, how it behaves, and how changes are communicated when formulations update.
Buyers: demand as the forcing function
Buyer sign-up is the simplest path: you are validating the marketplace with real orders and real delivery expectations. Your feedback still matters, especially when something arrives out of spec, because it closes the loop for routing and QC.
Where to start
Use the role sign-up flows linked from the home page and role landing pages. If you are unsure whether you are closer to a creator or a small brand operator, start with creator onboarding and refine listings as you learn how production interprets your files.
Source context (Respect for people)
Lean practice emphasizes respect for people alongside continuous improvement. gudiee’s onboarding is strict because downstream participants (makers, suppliers, and buyers) deserve predictable counterparts, not hidden rework forced onto the network.
